Guinea on Monday 19 October set the price at 65,625,000 Guinean francs per person for the 2027 Hajj in the public circuit, an increase of around 12.5% on the previous edition. The minister and Secretary-General for Religious Affairs, Elhadj Karamo Diawara, presented these figures at a press briefing in Conakry.

Candidates registered with the General Secretariat for Religious Affairs (SGAR) will therefore need to budget an extra 7.3 million Guinean francs. The official fee for the 2026 edition, announced on 3 November 2025, was 58,325,000 Guinean francs.

For licensed private agencies, the 2027 Hajj fee is set at 68,625,000 Guinean francs. The gap with the public circuit therefore comes to 3 million Guinean francs per pilgrim. The SGAR official explained the difference by the agencies' commercial purpose, distinct from the State's public service mission, according to remarks reported by Guinee360.

Registration is set to open on Thursday 22 October, with a national quota of 10,000 places, according to information provided by the SGAR and relayed by Le Djely.

The minister also asked that official prices appear on payment authorisation receipts and warned against unauthorised surcharges. According to Guinee360, he ruled out cash handovers to intermediaries and payments into personal accounts outside approved channels.
