Tractafric Motors Côte d’Ivoire will pay a net dividend of 209 FCFA per share on 23 October 2026, for the 2025 financial year. The BRVM sets out the timetable in its notice no. 294 of 6 October.

The eligibility timetable comes before payment

The notice states that the share will trade ex-dividend from Thursday 22 October. It specifies that shareholders registered at the close of trading on 21 October will receive the dividend.

The two dates correspond to different stages: the ex-dividend date concerns the right attached to the share, while the payment date concerns the payout. Confusing them may lead a reader to wrongly conclude that buying a share on the payment day is enough to receive the announced dividend.

An amount per share, distinct from the yield

At the announced amount, a portfolio of 100 eligible shares represents a net dividend of 20,900 FCFA. This calculation covers only the company’s payment and does not take into account any charges relating to account maintenance.

The figure of 209 FCFA is not, on its own, a yield. To establish a dividend yield, the amount must be set against the share price used as a reference. And to assess the performance of an investment, the movement in the share price must also be taken into account.

The official timetable therefore identifies the payment and the securities concerned. Analysis of the company and of the market price remain two other readings, to be compared with the accounts and trading sessions.
