The Treasury of the Democratic Republic of the Congo allotted 76,8159 million dollars in nominal value at the bond auction of 13 October 2026, against an initial target of 60 million, according to the official result published by the Finance Ministry the same day.

All six bidders were allotted the full amount of their bids. The accepted amount therefore exceeds the operation's target by 16,8159 million dollars, with a cover ratio of 128.03%.

The bonds carry an annual coupon of 8% and mature on 13 October 2028. Offered prices ranged from 98% to 100% of nominal value, while the weighted average price stood at 99.04%, according to the ministry's table.

These prices represent the amount paid to acquire the securities relative to their nominal value. They are separate from the annual coupon of 8%, which pays the return on the bonds. The schedule published on 2 October provides for four interest payments a year, in US dollars, and repayment of principal every six months.

Settlement of the issue is scheduled for Friday 16 October, into the account of the Central Bank of the Congo held with the Bank for International Settlements, according to the ministerial announcement.
