PalmCI recorded net profit of FCFA 13.527 billion in the first half of 2026, compared with FCFA 22.909 billion a year earlier. Its activity report, published on the BRVM on 7 October, shows a 41% decline, amid a fall in volumes sold on the local market.

Revenue declines as profit falls faster

Turnover stands at FCFA 114.725 billion, down 15%. Operating profit reaches FCFA 17.622 billion, compared with FCFA 29.803 billion in the first half of 2025. The figures in the original table are expressed in thousands of FCFA; they have been converted here into billions for ease of reading.

Calculated from the published figures, the net margin moves from about 17% to 11.8%. In other words, for FCFA 100 of sales, profit represents about FCFA 11.8 over the half-year, compared with FCFA 17 in the comparable period. This gap shows that the fall in profit exceeds that of revenue.

Running down stock at the heart of the second half

The company says sales of finished product stock began in April and should continue until the end of the year. It expects a positive annual result, in line with the trend of 2025.

Accounts at the end of June therefore offer only an interim snapshot. To assess the trajectory that follows, it will be necessary to compare sales made, stock still available and the profit generated. A stock sale can support turnover while producing a different margin depending on its sale price.
