In Niger, Goumeri Oil Well Blowout Remains Partially Contained
The well operated by CNPC Niger Petroleum was still releasing crude oil and gas on 12 October, after the eruption on 25 September. Two neighbouring wells are weakened, but no loss of production has yet been quantified.
